60-second range check
Sing a slow siren.
From your lowest comfortable note up to your highest. Take your time. We’ll track the lowest and highest pitch your voice produces — the first slice of your TonePrint. Audio stays in your browser.

This estimator collapses every voice into one of six broad buckets from F0 alone. The full Suede Sing iOS app classifies across the complete Fach spectrum using a per-singer logistic-regression model fit to your calibration samples, with acoustic markers per fach — tessitura range in semitones, expected H1−H2 distribution per register, spectral tilt baseline, F1/F2/F3 formant signature, singer’s formant cluster intensity, characteristic passaggio MIDI:
- Soprano family — F0 working range C4–C6+, lyric / spinto / dramatic / coloratura / soubrette. F1 baseline 700–900 Hz, characteristic high singer’s formant cluster, passaggio typically C5–E5 depending on subtype.
- Mezzo-soprano family — F0 working range A3–A5, lyric / dramatic / coloratura. Distinctive F2/F3 cluster at 2.4–2.8 kHz, passaggio typically A4–C5.
- Contralto / countertenor — cross-fach M1/M2 inversion patterns. Sopranist, mezzo, alto subtypes. Reads like a soprano above the break with a chest baseline below.
- Tenor family — F0 working range C3–C5+, lyric / spinto / dramatic / Heldentenor. Singer’s formant ~2.8 kHz, distinctive H1−H2 chest signature, passaggio typically E4–G4.
- Baritone family — F0 working range G2–G4, lyric / Verdi / dramatic / bass-baritone. F1 baseline 500–650 Hz, passaggio typically B3–D4.
- Bass family — F0 working range E2–E4, basso cantante / basso profondo. Low spectral centroid, characteristic F2 plateau, passaggio typically G3–A3.
Plus non-binary tessitura mapping and CCM-specific belt categorization that doesn’t fit cleanly inside the operatic Fach taxonomy.
In short: this tab gives you F0 min and F0 max. The iOS app gives you the full feature vector, longitudinal trajectories, register classification, compensation diagnostics, and the targeted drill set.
